General Terms of Use
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These are the terms that will govern any contract between you and us for the sale of the products displayed on this web site. We reserve the right to amend these terms when necessary.

Please note that it is your responsibility to check that your order is correct, and to accurately supply all relevant information necessary to complete the order as requested.

We are under no obligation to accept your order but will normally do so where the items are available, the order reflects current pricing and either your credit/debit card payment is approved by your credit/debit card company or your cheque clears (depending on your choice of payment method). Your order represents an offer of contract from you only and is not binding until we have sent you an e-mail confirming receipt and acceptance of your order.

We are entitled to withdraw from any order in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the products or the order appearing on our web site.

Placing an order is notification of your acceptance of these terms and conditions. In the rare circumstance that a product price has increased between the time of the order and our acceptance of it (or, again rarely, if a delivery charge needed to be applied or amended), we will e-mail you to advise of the change. Your card will never be charged with an amount additional to your original order without your prior written consent. You will, of course, have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund.

Any contract between us will be governed by English Law and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. All of the copyright in the material, documents, site design, graphics, systems, codes and connections contained on this web site or linked to it and the selection and arrangement thereof are owned by Mungai Mirrors Ltd, the web site designers or the publishers of those sites to which this web site links. All rights are reserved. You are entitled to electronically copy and to print in hard copy sections of this web site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Mungai Mirrors Ltd. Any other use of material on the web site, including photocopying, modifying and/or distributing any pages printed off this web site for purposes other than those noted above, without our prior written consent, is strictly prohibited.

We will attempt to ensure that the information available on our web site at any one time is accurate, but cannot guarantee that it will be fault-free. Our web site is provided on a 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We are not liable to you if we cannot supply a particular item. If you would like us to deliver substitute lines should selected products be unavailable, then you can request this when placing your order.

We do not make any warranties that the web site is secure or is free from infection by viruses or anything else that has contaminated or disruptive properties. We do not accept liability for any errors and omissions and reserve the right to change information, prices and descriptions of listed goods at any time. From time to time certain products may vary in style and material to that shown on the web site. We would do our best to correct errors and omissions as quickly as practicable after being notified of them.

We do not accept any liability for any losses or claims arising from any liability to access our web site or any failure to complete a transaction. Our total liability in contract, tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty), misrepresentation or otherwise, arising in connection with the supply of products or contemplated supply shall be limited to the total price of the products purchased in respect of any claims.

We will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss (whether for loss of profits, loss of business, depletion of goodwill or otherwise) or damage of any kind in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of the use of the web site or use of the products or services.

You acknowledge that it is not usually possible to detect from inspection of an internet transmission whether the original of it had been forged, wrongfully altered or otherwise misused or where the transmission details such as name of sender, sender's e-mail address, or date and time of transmission imprinted on it automatically are genuine, and you therefore agree to indemnify us against any actions, proceedings, damages, costs, claims, demands or losses whatsoever arising from your so acting, obeying or otherwise dealing in accordance with any such Internet transmission appearing to have been so furnished by you or on your behalf in the event that the said Internet transmission has been produced by forgery, wrongful alteration or other misuse of the original transmission or that said transmission details appear on it are not genuine.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Product Prices and VAT

All product prices are shown inclusive of VAT.

Method of Payment
When purchasing through our Online Shop, the only acceptable payment methods are credit/debit card. If you would like to use another payment method (e.g. business account) please contact us to make the necessary arrangements.

The credit/debit cards supported are Visa/Delta, Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, Solo, and Visa Electron.

Delivery Prices and Policies
Delivery charges include VAT and are based on both the weight and size of the mirrors being ordered. Charges are calculated as follows:

Delivery will be calculated during the checkout process based on delivery postcode and weight band. You will have the delivery options associated with the highest band in your shopping cart.

(There are exceptions but generally the weight bands represent item sizes eg. Band A - 15cm, Band B - 30cm, Band C - 45cm, Band D - 60cm+)

Next day services will be delivered Mon-Fri - orders must be placed by 12 noon.

Economy and standard services will be delivered Mon - Sat. 

We aim to dispatch all other orders within one to two working days.

We aim to deliver all orders within 5 working days from receipt of payment, but cannot guarantee this. We shall not be responsible for failures or delays in delivery due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to Acts of God, fires, strikes, and failure of suppliers or distribution partners. In the event of such delay our obligations under the contract will be suspended for the period of the delay.

Orders placed Monday-Friday will be despatched within 48 hours unless otherwise stated.

Most mirrors will be sent by Royal Mail, but large mirrors will be sent by a national courier and will require a signature on delivery. Courier deliveries will not arrive at weekends.

Orders placed using this Online Shop can currently only be shipped to addresses within the UK. If you are interested in buying our mirrors from outside the UK, please contact us.

You are responsible for the products once they have been delivered. You will be the owner of the products once we have received payment in full for the products. If an attempted delivery fails (such as the wrong address was specified on the order form) then we will notify you and offer to re-deliver the products subject to a shipping charge. If you then wish to cancel the order, we will refund the full amount minus the delivery charge (charged at cost). If we do not hear from you within 30 working days we will cancel the order and refund your payment by way of a credit to your credit/debit card, minus the shipping charge. Our liability for non-delivery of the products shall be limited to replacing the product within reasonable time.

Amending or Cancelling an Order
Before the order is shipped
If you decide you need to amend or cancel your order before it has been shipped, please contact us as soon as possible.

If you need to reduce or cancel your order we will adjust your order accordingly and make any necessary credit/debit card refunds.

If you need to increase your order we will adjust your order accordingly and collect any additional payment required.

There is no charge or penalty for adjusting and/or cancelling your order prior to despatch.
After the order is shipped
If you decide you need to amend or cancel your order after it has been shipped, you must contact us within 14 calendar days following the delivery of the order.

If you need to reduce or cancel your order we will make any necessary credit/debit card refunds only after you have returned the appropriate items to us in original condition. We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during their return to us, so you may want to consider sending them via an insured service.

Whilst there is no administrative charge or penalty for reducing or cancelling your order after despatch, please note that we will not cover the cost of returning items to us unless they were defective or you received the wrong items (see Returns & refunds).

If you need to increase your order after despatch, then this will be treated as a brand new order.

Returns and Refunds
You may return items to us for any of the following reasons:

You change your mind about any purchase;
Any item was defective and/or not as described;
You received the wrong item(s).

Returns for cancellation (eg. changed your mind, not what you expected):

You must contact us within 14 days from receiving your item and we must recieve the item within the following 14 days.
You are responsible for the return delivery costs.
You will be refunded the initial delivery cost (equal to the amount of the standard delivery cost).
You will receive a refund within 14 days of cancelling and we subsequently receive the goods back within the 14 days.

Returns for damaged or faulty goods:

You must contact us within 30 days of ordering and notify us of any faults or damage.
Depending on the complaint we may not require the item to be returned.
You will be refunded the initial delivery cost (equal to the amount of the standard delivery cost).
Any return delivery cost will be fully refunded.
You will receive a refund within 14 days of us either receiving the goods or agreeing to no return necessary.

Your right to cancel

Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. 

If your order consists of multiple goods, the 14 day period runs from when you get the last of the batch.

This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.

Your right to a refund

You will get a refund within 14 days of either the us getting the goods back. A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary.

The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop. No refund can be given if the protective film has been removed from the acrylic mirrors.

You will not be refunded the return delivery cost.

We will make any necessary credit/debit card refunds only after you have returned the appropriate items to us in original condition.  We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged during their return to us, so we strongly recommend sending them via an registered service ie. Courier or Recorded Royal Mail.

Whilst there is no administrative charge or penalty for returning items to us, please note that we will not cover the cost of returning the items unless they were defective or you received the wrong items.

Complaints
If you have any complaints about our Online Shop, our service, or our products please contact us as soon as possible so we can sort things out.

Security
Your credit/debit card transaction will be handled by WorldPay, a well respected payment processing company with thousands of clients including a number of blue chip companies. WorldPay provides all the security required for the transmission using SSL (Secure Socket Layer), the latest encryption techniques, and firewalls.

Privacy
Mungai Mirrors Ltd respects your privacy and adheres to the strict security procedures set out in the UK Data Protection Act 1998 in the storage and disclosure of any Data to prevent unauthorised access.

Your information is used only to process your order. In particular, we will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent and we will not pass your e-mail address to others.

Guarantee
We want you to be completely happy with your purchases from Mungai Mirrors Ltd, and will always do our best to sort things out to your satisfaction in the unlikely event of any problems arising. Even if you simply change your mind about anything you've bought from us we will be happy to refund your money (see Returns & Refunds for details).
